Class 1 Spring Term 2012

The Rainforest

Spring term has arrived in Class One and we are beginning to learn about the Rainforest. The children have already shared what they know about the rainforest and are very excited about learning more. We have turned our messy area into a rainforest as well as having a ‘rainforest explorers’ role-play area in the classroom. We will be learning about the environment, weather and inhabitants of the rainforest, whilst using maps to locate it. This topic will be taught through Art, Science, DT, Geography, PE, Literacy and Maths.
